LG’s V30 plus may be revealed at the end of the month August, and given months of leaks, that’s no surprise. What’s more surprising is that LG is rumored to be releasing a ‘Plus’ version too.
Before you think LG is making a new version of what’s already expected to be a 6-inch device , that’s not quite it. It seems LG is taking the same approach it did with the G6, and releasing a Plus version with added features. Unfortunately, that option might be limited to own country
The Plus version will likely have more storage of 128 GB, better audio and wireless charging. It’s nothing groundbreaking, although I hope this doesn’t mean LG is leaving the regular V30 with a middling sound chip, as that has been one of the main selling point in the past generations.
There’s no question about it, the LG V30 launch date is August 31.
How are we so sure? Well LG sent out an invite of event on that date which reads “Lights. Camera. Action. LG V30”.
We were already pretty confident about this after receiving a invite to an LG press conference on August 31 back in July.
LG didn’t put the V10 or V20 on sale in the UK and other countries outside of the US, so it may there’s no guarantee we’ll see a more global LG V30 release either .
However, considering the launch of the V30 is set to take place just at Berlin, Germany it may hint at a European release for the phone.
